Primary Skills:
They must have hands-on experience working in an applications production
They also need at least a basic knowledge of SQL and HTML/CSS, and experience/working knowledge of ITIL-compliant incident, problem, and change service management. It is considered to be a plus for the application support analyst
They need the capability to work virtually with cross-functional squads
They must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills for documentation and customer support duties
They need the ability to multi-task, virtually prioritize work, and adapt during pressured situations.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Answerable for observing applications and batch jobs
Troubleshoot and escalate alerts that cannot be resolved to the application support team
Responsible for monitoring and reacting to open tickets submitted through an incident management system
Progress issues and provide relevant information for troubleshooting or for clarification
Flexible with regard to working in shifts and weekend support to provide 24×7 support to applications in scope
Ensure the implementation of daily health checks of the applications, and scripts by the support team
Create and maintain troubleshooting guides and support documentation for the specific assigned applications
Respond to customer requests as per SLA Guidelines
