Job Profile:

Junior Linux Engineer – Patching

Qualification:

a bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field (or comparable job experience shown through experience) 

Experience:

• experience at the entry level or having finished the appropriate internship program
• platform management experience at the entry level, combining any of the following: – Server Administration, Linux Server Administration, Virtualization Administration, Server Hardware, and Storage Administration
• Fundamental understanding of redundancy ideas, management agents, and products in the supported technical area (e.g., network, data center, telephony, exchange, storage, cloud, backup, etc.)

Salary:

6 LPA – 10 LPA

Work Location:

Hyderabad

Responsibilities:

• Junior Linux Engineer with main focus on Patching – – Preferred RedHat certification.
• Knowledge and the ability to perform software installations/patching of operating systems.
• Professional familiarity with Configuration Management Tools such as the following:
• CFEngine
• Puppet
• Chef
• Salt
• Ansible Knowledge of the Linux kernel and kernel modules. Ability to troubleshoot and Solve problems by addressing the root cause of the issue.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to learn and evaluate new technologies.
• Ability to perform presentations to customer/client audiences Log/system review for resolution or escalation of issues.
• Ability to identify tasks that should be automated and then write tools to automate them.
• Solid understanding of the Linux/Unix-based operations system.
• Ü System analysis ü System performance tuning ü Load Balancing Ability to program in at least 2 languages (shell, Perl, Ruby)
