Is Skillshare Worth It?

Is Skillshare Worth It? Now let’s be real with online learning booming everywhere in today’s market and thousands of different e-learning platforms coming up each day… the question arises who to trust & what to believe in?

 

I have tried Skillshare for a month (thanks to their free trial) and here’s my honest take about it!

Skillshare has hundreds and thousands of different courses which are categorized under various domains such as Digital marketing, Graphics designing, video editing, etc. Even those professionals who are interested in side hustles can also use their platform to learn some additional skills that will benefit them in their passive income.

 

Now, though it seems highly positive from my above comments, this also has a catch every course you take up in online or offline will have its own pros and cons. Here’s what I think about it, let me point out my perspective about the advantages and disadvantages of the courses available on Skillshare…so that you will pick accordingly!

 

Pros:

 

• Skillshare has various courses in different fields for your choice
• It provides a free trial for a month
• It helps you get courses that won’t take long for you to complete
• It also helps with certifications
• They can take their courses to improve soft skills, too
• The courses available are not very highly prized

 

Cons:

 

• Skillshare platform doesn’t offer university-level teaching
• It is not for professionals who wanna gain in-depth knowledge

 

 

My advice?

 

Before you jump into buying out premier courses, try to use their free trial for a month. Pick some courses that suit your work or interest & try to complete them. Once you do that, you will get a picture of how the course works & the platform as well.

Investing isn’t about money, it’s the time & commitment you provide to the dedicated course. Stay focused & achieve your goal.
